Obituary of Dolores B. Sarisky

Dolores Sarisky, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born and raised in a small mining town in Pennsylvania and had resided for over 50 years in Fair Lawn, N.J. She was a Bell Telephone Operator and retired from AT&T after 31years of service. Dolores moved to Atlantic City in 2011 and developed many friendships at the shore. Known to her friends a Dee, she loved living at the beach and people watching on the boardwalk. Dolores was an avid card player, played bingo and canasta and was known to be very competitive. Dolores was preceeded in death by her husband Emanuel Sarisky who died in 1988. She was the last of 8 siblings. She is survived by her son Gerry Sarisky (Robin), daughter Amy Berezein (Michael), grandchildren Kenny and Amanda, and great-grandchildren Kylie, Derek, Orion and Halley. She was devoted to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and service Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC, 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Dolores Sarisky at 10:00am Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City (just across Atlantic Avenue from the Funeral Home). One of Dee's favorite charities was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.(gormleyfuneralhomellc.com).
