Joseph G. Darnell passed away on his 72nd birthday, October 9, 2023 at the AtlantiCare Medical Center following a courageous battle with Interstitial Lung Disease. He passed peacefully in the presence of his loving family.
Joe had been employed by the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority, retiring in 2000.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Grace Darnell; his sister Joan Speciale and brother Robert Darnell. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Darnell; daughters Christine Darnell, Stacy Spalding and her husband Stephen Spalding; grandchildren Cassidy, Alexander, Ian; his sister Mary Beck as well as several nieces and nephews who will remember his fondly.
