SUPPOGU, Rev. Dr. Israel 77, of Atlantic City, NJ passed away on September 1, 2023.
Dr. Suppogu was born in Kurnool AP, India. He served as Pastor to Cole Centennial Tulgu Baptist Church in Kurnool, India for 25 years. Later he moved his family to America and settled his family in Atlantic City where he assumed the pastorship of the Chelsea Community Presbyterian Church on South Chelsea Avenue in Atlantic City.
His immediate family survives the Rev. Dr. Suppogu: his wife Doris Paul Varagani (nee Varagan) Suppogu, and son David Suppogu and daughters Havila Suppogu and Lydia Suppogu of Atlantic City.
Funeral Services for Rev. Dr. Suppogu wills be held 11:00am Friday September 8, 2023 at Chelsea Community Presbyterian Church 9 South Chelsea Avenue, Atlantic City where he has served as Pastor.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 10:00am at the Church. The Rite of Committal will be offered at Holy Cross Cemetery 5061 Harding Highway (Route 40), Mays Landing following Church sevices. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC/gormleyfuneralhomellc.com.
