Daniel was born in Trenton to Daniel S. and Ann (Maus) Merlo where he was raised. Following College, Daniel began developing his career as a Fiber Optic Engineer. Before his illness he had provided Fiber Optic service for Ocean Casino.
He was married to Kiem Tran Merlo
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Daniel Merlo at 9:00am on Saturday July 15, 2023 in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. There will be Memorial services and calling for Daniel Merlo on Friday evening from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ.
