Diane Lynn Proietti 62 of Atlantic City-"A bright light left our world but will forever warm our hearts". Lynn passed away on May 7, 2023.
A devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, Lynn was dedicated to improving the lives of loved ones and friends in any way she could. A lifelong Atlantic City resident, Lynn grew up with lots of family on Arizona Avenue that were never treated as extended, whether a third cousin or close friend, her kind and sweet disposition made sure you felt as loved as a sibling.
That loved was not limited to people, Lynn was dedicated to rescuing and caring for cats as well. Many of Atlantic City's feral cat population were tamed by her warmth and compassion. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have her as a part of their lives.
Lynn is proceeded by her mother, Joan Burke, brother William Stamat and her life long companion, Thomas Freas. Lynn is survived by her two sons, Mark Proietti and Joseph Proietti; her brother Keith Burke (Kelly) as well as two grandchildren Mark and Belladonna, her niece Megan and nephews Sean and Colin.
