Q: How did you meet Janet? A: I meet Janet at the Scrun A Dub laundromat in AC.She wad so pleasant with the customers and greater yet if u had kids.I used to give her daughter Stephanie a $1 every time I would see her..R friendship carried on to being parents of Richmond Ave Students .That's where I met her mom who never an event at school.Janet will b missed by us

I have fond memories of Janet. I was maybe 13, hanging in the laundromat everyday with her. I remember how she would wake up early every morning and get the kids breakfast ready and dressed. Then all day working in the laundromat to go back upstairs and cook a whole dinner every night. I often wondered how she had the energy to juggle it all day in and day out but she always managed. We lost touch over the years but whenever we seen one another it was all love. May you RIH Janet ❤️ Kim Barnes
