Please share a memory of Deborah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Deborah "Debbie" Martin (nee Munyon), 64 passed away unexpectedly at her home in Seminole, FL. on August 28, 2021.
Debbie was born on June 4, 1957 and grew up in the Juniata Park section of North East Philly, where she met and married Bob Martin Sr. After the birth of their son, Bobby, they relocated to South Jersey and settled into Somers Point. There, Debbie dedicated her life to the community and kids, always volunteering at the Youth Center and being a sports mom to all. She also spent 30 plus years working for the Somers Point School District, finally retiring in 2016.
Debbie and Bob spent 35 years together before his passing in 2012. Thankfully she was able to find love and happiness again with Scott McAllister and marrying in 2018. After being snow birds for a couple of years, they made the permanent move to Florida in 2020 where they were living their best life together.
There was nothing more important to Debbie then her family and very close friends. She made sure that everyone knew that their home was always open and that everyone was welcome.
Anyone who knew Debbie would describe her as loving, fierce, strong, compassionate, funny and sweet. She was a devoted wife, Mother, Sister and friend. But her favorite title was "Mom-Mom" to her grandson Roman.
Debbie is predeceased by her 1st husband Bob; both her parents; her brother Robert; and recently her Aunt Marie. She leaves behind her husband Scott, her son Bobby and his wife Betsy; grandson Roman; her sister Maureen; nephew Robert Vaugh; nieces Lauren and Melody Munyon; her best friend Barbara Felton; and tons of other family and friends. She was also impatiently awaiting the arrival of her 2nd grandson due the beginning of October. Debbie will be forever missed and the workd seems a little less bright with her no longer here.
