Greg was a great guy, a friend and baseball teammate in our youth.
I’m fairly certain that Greg's “riding the boardwalk from end to end” began when we were both on the Little League All-Star team and did that ride every day for training.
One old funny memory I have was during that time, we (Greg, Richard DeCicco (Chico) and I all got in trouble for stopping for a quick breakfast short of the required end of the boardwalk turn-around expecting to see everyone ride past us on their way back. We figured we'd join them at that time. Somehow the rest of the team sailed past us on their return while we lingered at the restaurant waiting for them. As a result we were very late for practice and got in trouble with the coach.
My deepest condolences to Greg's family and friends. He will be missed.
