As summer unfolds, many people, including myself, will remember The Inn of the Irish Pub on St. James Place in Atlantic City. For decades, the concierge there was the warm and kind Frank Pileggi. He made a temporary home for all of us, and we revered him. We are all grateful for the comfort he offered us in our temporary home at the Inn of the Irish Pub. The memories are beautiful ones.
Rest in peace, Frank. You are gone but never forgotten. Thank you for creating beautiful memories of AC for all of the guests at the Inn!

Frank was the first person I met—essentially the face and voice of the Irish Pub—when I inquired about a room at the Inn in the Summer of 2015. I stayed at the Inn for most of that summer, and had many chats with Frank during my comings and goings. Frank always had a smile and was always willing to chat about AC or local/regional sports. During every off-season over the following four years, Frank would diligently send me an Irish Pub brochure with the summertime Inn rental rates via postal mail. Over those next four years, I was able to stop in sporadically, disheartened when I heard of his cancer diagnosis, but elated when he beat cancer and returned to the special place he loved. I’ll always remember Frank; in my mind, he is forever linked with the Irish Pub and my Jersey Shore summer of 2015. May he RIP. —Tim Fahey

My condolences to Frank's family.
My late wife (who passed away this March 2019) and I would travel from Ottawa to Atlantic City over the past 15 years for almost every year and we would always have these long talks with Frank about Atlantic City.
He would send us mail reminders every year to come back to the Irish Pub for another stay, that was the way he was and it made us feel good to know he thought about us every year.
Memory eternal, God bless his soul.
